The months of March and April were a little different for us this year… Some of us were lucky enough to spend a few weeks away in Australia and New Zealand visiting family. Any time away for us takes quite a bit of organising, but we are lucky enough to have a great friend who does everything!

No easy task with goats, alpacas, dogs, ducks and not forgetting one chicken!

We know everything is in safe hands, being an animal person herself.

It was the longest time we have ever been away, and it was lovely to see family and give them all some more of our lovely socks.

The Mohair socks are very popular in Australia as they are comfortable and don’t leave your feet feeling sweaty. We took such a large amount of colours and styles we had to take an extra travel bag just for socks!

The Socks encountered loads of adventures from Perth to Sydney to Brisbane then over to New Zealand. They were the perfect addition to exploring all around Aus and keeping us all nice and comfortable in the hot weather.

Our first job when we got home was to let the goats out after a long winter in the barn. They couldn’t wait to get into the fields and headed straight to the hedges for a snack. This time of year is usually a bit easier for us but we have been very busy with lots of local shows and markets with our Corrymoor stand- some more coming up in the near future so keep an eye on our social media!
