New adventures for Corrymoor Socks

Corrymoor Socks is on the move. After 36 years of breeding and showing Angora goats, growing mohair and selling socks we have decided that it is time to hand over the reins to our friends, the Peachey family at Cotswold Angora Ltd. They live in the beautiful Cotswolds and run their own flock of Angora Goats.

In 1989, alongside the farm and 3 small children, we dabbled in handspinning and knitting and the creation of mohair sweaters before we realised that the hardwearing, lustrous and luxurious mohair, known as “the diamond fibre” was perfect for socks. We often recall our first letter from a customer who said, after putting on her first pair of Corrymoor Socks, “my feet think they have died and gone to Heaven”. Since then, we have sold socks all over the world, literally for “every walk of life”. Some people claim they are still wearing socks they bought from us in the early 90s!

We would like to thank all our customers for the support they have given us over many years. We are thrilled that Corrymoor Socks are going to be in such safe hands for the future. We know that you will all support the Peachey family as they move forward with their exciting new venture.

A message from the Peachey Family…

To all the loyal customers who have supported Corrymoor over the years, don’t worry…We will still continue to produce high quality and long lasting socks!

Corrymoor’s new home is situated in the Cotswolds, based within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We can’t wait to show you more of our journey!
Alongside our herd of Angora Goats (the oldest originating from Corrymoor itself) and 3 watchful Alpacas, we will continue to create beautiful Mohair products, whilst updating you on all the funny stories from the farm.

As always, thank you so much for your continued support, we are certainly excited for what the future may hold!
Keep an eye out for more special offers and updates coming soon…

To celebrate the move to the Cotswolds, Corrymoor have brought back the ever popular Meadow Collection, in homage to the beautiful scenery and landscapes they will now be nestled within.
